really? You went to a dream-smashing, ‘i don’t care’ place here. I think the sense conveyed is ‘to each his own’ . The fantasy/infatuation part is gone, destroyed, in this one. It’s like a wrecking ball, or a splash to a still pool reflecting the moon. Quite the opposition to the poem before.
