Okay, it’s got 14 lines, centers around a single thought or principal, and is crudely crammed into iambic pentameter. Thus is my lowly attempt at a sonnet for the challenge.

I think you should take up poetry! This is really good. I like the circular representation of war by the similarity of first and last line (whether deliberate or not).

What, sonnets are supposed to rhyme? Honestly, I didn’t even know that. The website I looked at to check my sonnet form didn’t mention anything about rhyming…but then again, I read it very quickly in the middle of a work day.
