Typo in the second to last paragraph (teh). Nice solid write with a general background of humour all the way through (probably because I’m now thinking of him saying : “anti-distinctly-minty-monty… anyway…”)

Sock Gremlin is a simple, yet very effective culprit =) I do like the idea of Blackadder sneaking into various bedrooms around the country to steal socks.

The first two paragraphs are really very good. You have a talent for wit.

But the story gets a bit jumbled in the third paragraph. I think it can be tighter there.

It would be George, Prince of Wales not Prince George of Wales.

It’s interesting how the heir to the king got that title. The welsh speak a language decidedly different than standard english. An English king conquored Wales and promised that he would appoint a prince to lead them that did not speak english. They assumed that it would be a welsh speaker. Instead he appointed his infant son.

Amusing take on the challenge, and I like the historical and mythical feel to it. It did wind up a bit loosely tied together by the end, but it still worked for me.
