Wrote separately as a poem. Deleted and entered into this challenge, changed a few things. Based off of Cheap Trick’s “I want you to want me”.

A ballad type poem. But it’s a “story” about a woman getting clean and making sure that the person falling in love with her, really knows where she’s been in life and the toughness this person loves in her comes from living a hard life.

It’s O.K. to be attracted to scars.

I like the voice in this one, a distinctive character speaking and interacting with other interesting characters. Feels very challenging or confrontational, especially in the dialog, which I mean in a good way.

I love the structure and the voice and just everything about this poem. It paints women in a bad light but they do do that.

Not a cheap trick fan but i did enjoy this piece. Nice job with the rhyming bro.
