Memories

It was a life full of beauty; a life full of wonder. There were radiant fountains and the sound of laughter and something in the air that made you want to capture the moment. Funny thing, because my camera broke that very minute, but these moments could not be caught on film or put into words. They remain in my heart, aching memories at the least.

There was mist sending chills down my spine, but in a good way, and makeup smeared on the side of my face from who knows what. The blond haired, blue eyed boy was always waiting by the corner, until he moved away to some place called Indiana.

Young, reckless, and beautiful. We ran our own secluded world and set the boundaries, only to be extended when we needed room for interpretation. Each and everyone one of us were on our high horse, no doubt, but I was knocked out of my saddle.

Please, please come back. Do not leave me here on the ground. I need the stars to be put back up in the sky, I need to be at peace with this world, this life, with you and me.
