Consequences Part I

“I never really thought about why I do these things. But, you may be right, this could’ve had something to do with it.”

“I wasn’t really debating it. I know for a fact that you are who you are because of what happened sixteen years ago.”

“I don’t know. I always thought it was moving around a lot and seeing what every high school was generally like.”

“You and I both know that the accident had everything to do with this, so don’t bother trying to lie to me about it.”

“What makes you think I was lying? My past is just that, the past. I want nothing to do with it and it wants nothing to do with me. The accident might’ve had something to do with it, but I didn’t take this job soley because of it.”

“You saw your parents die, Jen, right in front of you.”

“I fail to see your point.”

“You were three years old! The experience is traumatizing to even think about what went through your head.”
