O.K. this is weird, and I’m allowed to read this anyway I want.

I couldn’t get the story of the stray dog and her puppies out of my mind… It made for a horrible heart wrenching scene for me. Maybe only because I now know her condemnation ended in death. You’ve written her story.

aww, it does have the stray dog feel to it, though she might not have a pillow.. Thanks for the perspective, I hadn’t read it that way. :)
