Escape The Iron Fist

“Alice”
“Come on Alice, we haven’t got all day.”
A startle voice spoke
“Alice they are going to find us sooner or later we must go.”
The startled voice spoke again in a clearer tone “Kyle go on they will be waiting for us both at the end, I can hold them off.”
“Alice I am not going to leave you, ALICE.” Kyle shouted down the hall.
A blast from the distant rang through Kyle’s ears, leaving him immobilize for the time.

A distant bright light woke Kyle up from the blast; dazed and confused unaware what has happened. “Alice” Kyle spoke. Kyle sat upwards, with a freshly wound bleeding from his temple. Kyle started to look all around him trying to spot Alice, near or in the distance.

Kyle grabbed his bag from the floor; he began to search the bag for a flash light and among other important items to help him find the exit out of what use to be a tunnel.

It wasn’t long before Kyle was able to see the end of the tunnel, the trees, the sun, and the birds singing all greeted his arrival at the end.
