This is a good story with a feel of missing elements.

yes, his wife an he are separated, the prequel gets into his guilt feelings, and now he is in the part where he is ok with the affair since his wife is actually living three states away. in other words, they are married because of the kids. Hence the affair he has with Cadee, bringing to light the questions of why if his wife doesn’t love him or live with him, is he holding on to his marriage still?

So, I see some of the confusion, that he wants her to come back but also wants this young cutee as well. That’s realistic though, as a guy in this situation is bound to be conflicted and bound to have his thoughts bounce back and forth.

I had to really think on this one, I had it written, before some of the prequels, then I had to add the prequel before to make it make sense, so I had to re-write it into the story!
