The photo is very beautiful and I think your words match it well. This feels like a hybrid of poetry and prose and is something special because of that. I’m not sure if you are using a minimal amount of words for effect (the slow, sad, drfiting thoughts of the depressed) but it seems to work pretty well due to the poetic soul of the piece. The only criticism I can offer is the moving the apostraphe in the first James,
