Goldilocks starred down at her curls.
“Well, I guess that’s alright.”
So Mama bear pulled out a dull knife and sheered her hair right up to her ears.
Then Goldilocks ran all the way home. Not thinking of the dark trees lurking over her, or butterflies or even her lack of hair. She thought about her mom and how she’ll never ever go in those woods again.
That’s the lesson Grandma took from this; always listen to your mom. But I feel at liberty to add another lesson, that we should all take to heart; never go into somebody’s house uninvited or you’re just asking for a haircut.
