This comes across as well thought out. But I like it because it hasn’t lost the honest, emotional punch that’s authentic to wearing your heart on your sleeve and responding in the moment.
The positive spin you put on these negative situations will serve you well. Keep doing what you’re doing. I fully approve!
Why I like it: This person could be bad or good, the language fits for anyone in any situation, it doesn’t matter what the catalyst is. As long as this person feels wronged, it fits.
Why I don’t like it: This person doesn’t take responsibility for their part in this situation. But I don’t like it based on an emotional response, and that’s what poetry is supposed to invoke, emotional responses.
