I also got a chance to insert my life long ire of the term, “half empty” (no slam on you, I like the way you used it). It’s almost always referred to as a glass of milk. Half full and half empty. I argued with my professor about this, the bottom half contains the gold, right? My point is, Alton has some filing up to do, it’s virtually impossible for a bottom half to be empty. and the top half to be full.
So I neither have a glass of milk that’s half full, or half empty. I have half of a glass of milk.
It’s what your thankful for. It’s the amount of milk. Alton will wake up, take his half empty glass of milk, fill six shot glasses to the brim, grin and be happy.
