Very fun telling or retelling of the process in really getting a good handle on an idea. Great job on the idea and the execution…er, I mean capture.

There may not have been a need for a commentary but I have reasons for doing it and I wish that more people did it. What interests me about writing is not so much the ideas that are in the story. Rather, I’m more interested in the writing process and how each person goes about doing what they do. Where did the idea come from? How much effort was involved in getting it into its final form? What challenges were faced and how were they addressed? Stories are good but storytellers are far more interesting.

As for the story itself, thanks to everyone for their kind remarks. It is appreciated.

I confess as well that I find the readers of stories interesting too. After all, I put words out into the ether but it is the readers with their own idiosyncratic experiences who interpret those words and give them new shades of meaning.

Wow… this story is awesome. It has great suspense, and it makes me want to take a walk in the narrator’s brain. It totally changes the way I think about thinking!
