Lovely portrait of an ironic post-apocalyptic town. A bit on the exposition side, but felt more like just describing a scene with story and backstory details slipped in along the way. Worked for me!

Very interesting, it felt like the beginning of a longer work. I wonder if the inhabitants of the world simply called our current cities enclaves, whether society evolved quite a bit before croaking, or if it’s not on our world. Anyways, well done.
