Once, a raven met a stork at a bird party and fell in love. The stork was everything she was not- tall, skinny and good looking. Despite having crippling insecurities, she revealed her true feelings for him by offering him things he lacked.

It wasn’t long before they were together but that wasn’t enough for Raven. Stork still wanted to be a part from her and have his own interests, hobbies and friends. He didn’t know that all he needed was her. Raven knew deep down in her heart that she could be his everything.

So she built a cage for him and presented it to him as a gift. Stork accepted graciously and moved into his cage at once. To keep Raven happy, he ignored the fact that the cage was too small and cramped. He scrunched up his body and hunched his neck and called the cage cozy.

Today Raven stays with him all day, everday. Most of the time she crams herself inside the cage too and when she wants to leave she unlocks the door with a key she keeps around her neck and always carefully locks it behind her.
