I head south looking for anything I recognize that will tell me exactly where I am. Everything seems so different in the spirit world. I get the feeling that I am being watched and look around to see hundreds of evil eyes staring at me hungrily. I keep moving, I hope those evil eyes are there just because I am so close to the point of corruption in this land, and will not bother me because I am dead. Sadly, I am wrong. I look back to see if I have missed a turn. Behind me I see a grotesque creature with razor sharp teeth and foam coming from its mouth. The thing is like a blob of sludge but it has fiery eyes and multiple tentacles. I know at once that this is one of the creatures in this land that will attack me on sight. I start to walk backwards only to hear rustling in the bushes behind me. I get the feeling that I am in combat and there is no way for me to attack as a spirit. I think to myself “If I die as a spirit, what exactly will happen to me?” Not liking the outcome of my thoughts, I start to run.
