Risks

What drives us to take these risks?

When we move away, searching for that perfect home, what makes us think we can find it? Hasn’t our home been enough? Isn’t it a bit silly to think a new house will make us truly happy?

When you’re tired of your job, to the point it makes you sick, what changed? It’s the same as it as always been. There’s nothing new or different, so why so disgusted? You think you don’t make enough money, it’s just never quite enough. So when you find a better job, when you have that money, are you happy?

When you open up to someone special, let them see the inner person you are. Once you do, you realize there’s nothing else so amazing, or terrifying as being in love. Are you happy?

You can’t afford that new house. The job you found keeps you away from your family all the time. And that person you trusted? They broke your heart.

We take these risks because they feel right. But when they go wrong, does that mean it was a mistake?
