824 Speaks

“I asked you a question, son”
824 said nothing, continued to type.
“These cell doors, the algorithms required to open them are quite to difficult to decrypt, even if you have the time”
824 said nothing, continued to type.
Devoe turned to his escort,
“Identify”
“We don’t know who he is, he has no name, no record” he whispered,
“He’s done this seven times, has never tried to escape”
The guards, still pointing their guns, watched and waited.
“I am finished, thank you for your patience, now, what was your question?”
“Why do you not escape?”
“I like to remind them, on occasion, that I can, should I desire to”
Devoe smiled. Waved off the guards, they went back to their positions, but the doors stayed open.
“What’s your name?”
824 went about rearranging his code, as beautiful as it was…
“Is that Abstract?” asked Devoe.
824 smiled, answered,
“Yes, my gift to this world”
“There are very few individuals that can write it as well as you can, where did you learn?”
“You can’t learn, it is impossible…”
