A short comment on crafting poetry: be careful to not start your lines with too many unstressed syllables. It may cause confusion for the readers as they attempt to discern the poem’s metre.

I like this, a lot. Found myself humming as I read it like it was a song. A sad song, but still.

I do not know much at all about poetry; therefore, I cannot and wouldn’t have given this any kind of critique anyways. This is flawless, sorrowful, and quite lovely…and I can relate to this which makes it even more beautiful. The fifth stanza was especially relatable and poignant to me.
