The Volcano
I don’t know how much longer I can contain myself.
Do you have any idea? You mortals that smile at me blandly as you pass by, asking about my day, like you give a damn! Do you have any idea of the white-hot fury that’s building up inside me?
Do you know that I could destroy you all at any moment?
Something holds me back. I don’t know what it is, for I find myself caring less and less about any of you… perhaps I retain some memory of being human and having human cares. But that time has long passed, and now I am more than human – so much more!
Yet my patience, my self-control, still have their limits. And they have been reached. I cannot help but smile at the horror rising in your faces as I unleash devastation upon you.
So I fart in the elevator. It is so bad that one guy actually throws up.
