…..I’ve always had problems with its, and _ it’s_, you mix them up here too, but I’m not sure about some of them. It’s = It has or It is. Its= ownership, possessive. Replace all of your it’s and its with his, and see if it makes sense. In the cases that it doesn’t, then it’s, it is.

I love the mentioned difference between snapping and scissoring, it does an excellent job of describing to the reader exactly what motion the lobster is making. All in all, this was really well done.
