I got excited when I saw you entered because I was hoping for a poem: You didn’t disappoint. I keep jumping in between interpretations so I need more time to decode it to a point where I can say I understand it completely but it’s very intriguing.

Nicely told, one of your more direct poems in terms of what is going on. Very sad, and I like the style/voice here—still poetic but not overdone so it still feels like someone’s natural thought process on the subject.
