Great beginning. Felt it tailed off a bit though. A couple of technical points:
Para 2: should it be ‘…a thousand pens filling out…’
Para 3: ‘…meanind…’ should be ‘…meaning…’

Good catches- thank you. The piece was part of a larger piece that had to be reworked for Ficly. Clearly it still needs work.
