I’m really confused by the last paragraph. It might just be me, but I have no idea what’s going on there.
So many more questions now! Are they cloned soldiers? Memory wiped? Controlled somehow? Can’t wait toto see where it goes now.
The dialogue captures the urgency that is obviously being felt by the characters here too.

Thanks Night, I think the prequel option wasn’t available, I was editing that one with proper names at the same time I was writing this Ficly.
