I like the ending for its humor. This turned into a peace loving diatribe, when it began as a sort of attack on the greedy who want the lazy way to money, with a small bash against the war over how things began. I’m not sure what the theme here is, but I was amused and it carried me; a good sign of poetry.
wonderfully done. this piece can easily be compared to Langston Hughes’ Let America be America Again or Gil Scott-Heron’s The Revolution Will Not Be Televised for its play-on-words call for social change.
