I think you could drop the ‘about’ in the last sentence of the first paragraph.

I love people watching too. It’s where I find my inspiration for most half-decent characters which is why I love the fact that, in this piece, the main characters is actually the watcher. First person too. Brownie points.

In the first paragraph, I don’t think you need the first or last comma – the sentences run fine without a break. It’s a good opener.

The character herself has an intriguing personality. It’s fascinating that describing someone else can reveal so much about you. Her attitude to the couple and to the people in general tells more about her than an analysis of her individually could.
