amazingly vivid description… even before I saw the picture. So what does a stainless steel zippo, a pewter dragon dowing a 1/5 of Wild Turkey, a empty prescription bottle of oxycotton, and a Tony Chachere’s original creole seasoning have in common? This ficly!
I love it! The story and the picture, the fact that Everett missed such a brilliant, brilliant last line. I also love the idea that the guy puts the bottle ‘pack’ in the dragon’s paws (not claws? huh) – as though that’s where he keeps his bottles. It’s such an amusing concept.
I think you could have probably breaked that first big paragraph at *As the bottle, just to make it a little easier to read.
