Oh, wow, this has a strong narrative voice and a good ear for dialogue. Small things like writing"… a couple blocks…" instead of ‘a couple of blocks’ makes me believe it’s spoken and get into the story.

This gave me that forgot I was reading moment and when it ended I wanted more.

this is beautiful and the dialogue is very impressive. I never get tired of reading your pieces.
