Having not read the whole series so far the book about demons was a bit of a shock, but it went in with the flow of the narrative well, which worked nicely.

JoAnn is a great character. I tend to write my characters with an almost epic sense of importance and drama, and like I said before I am jealous of you people who can emote a characters beautiful simplicity.

I am curious to see how her boy feels about the choice of books.

One thing at the end, I would almost use ‘did she suspect’ rather than ‘what did she suspect’. Paranoia is powerful, and suspecting someone of suspecting something might be more effective.

Then again I haven’t read the next one so maybe I’m missing something. These are awesome.
