The two definitely cross here, lust and love, but you hint that love is deeper and can grow anywhere, separating the two. It’s twisted, and almost surreal, but also very real.
I felt a wilingness here to let a chance at something pass to hold onto something that was already there. Very well written. I always appreciate pieces that focus on dialogue since that is a weakness in my own writing.
