I’ve had this idea floating in my head for a long while. Wanted to make a kind of nerdy homage to O. Henry. Not 100% happy with it.

What a fun story. I had looked up to your tags half way through, so I think I robbed myself of what would have been an unexpected commentary on the digital age (and beyond). … But I’ll still never get rid of my bookshelves and books :).

You definitely conveyed your point across. The Gift of the Magi story has bothered me ever since I read it in junior high. I think I can appreciate it more today but it was so painful. The two middle paragraphs that mirror each other are great, showing how an innocuous statement can be interperted. Great job and well deserving of the feature!
