Like grand theft auto in a way. I’m wondering whether ‘almost lost his cookies’ is supposed to be taken literally— like he actually had a bag of cookies. If I had to guess I’d say it was intended to be metaphorical. I sort of want to think he had cookies though. It’s a visual. I see the cookies fly out of control and I like that image. And it adds to his character… what car theif has a bag of cookies? I mean, were they baked fresh by his grandma? Did he steal them from a store? And why does he hanker for cookies? Amidst all the ruckus I want to know about that aspect most of all.. I feel like I’m rambling so let’s get back to the point. It’s action packed and fun. I enjoyed the ride.
I’m familiar with phrase “toss your cookies” as a way of saying “vomit,” which is how I understand it.
This story makes me curious about these two characters beyond this little escapade. You’ve made it clear this is neither the beginning nor end of the tale.
