#9 Don't dream, be

Don’t just dream,
for hallucinations
only spin in
vague cycles.

There is more
than just that rainbow
floating in azure.

Scratch onto paper
impossible realities.

Life is so less,
so make it unless!

Unless effort exhausted
confines you to dreams
of flaming swords
and butterfly queens.

Something
in fairytales
always speaks true,
as myth comes from legend
and ash from hot flame,
so I preach to you then,
you are more
than mere dreams.

Wander far,
unfear danger,
see things most can’t see.

The moral,
dear friend,
beyond growing as self,
is not just to dream,
but to be.
