Some have bitten me, letting me learn the hard way that I’mallergic to them. Others have crawled into my mouth, or at least that is what some scientist have theorized. Mostly they just sit there and taunt me with their eight crawly legs and eight evil eyes.

In the first paragraph I was wondering if they were elves or gremlins but in the second I thought they were insects. Finally, like a magician, you pull the sheet aside to reveal a spider. Bravo!

Insects are evil. That’s why.

I love the build up, gradual formation of a picture in my head until the final line.

I try not to, because they are so helpful.
