Wishing On Planes. Hoping For Miracles.
It caught us by surprise, really.
Reeled us in and even though
you swore otherwise,
you ran right to it,
tearing your blindfold off
in the process.
A fool, you called yourself,
for letting your ego take hold
and choke your logic.
I waited in the wings,
patiently, or forgetting
for numerous years.
And now,
after a late night of marveling
and discovering,
I find myself unable to fathom
the complexity
of the situation.
But I digress.
