Avis E. Webb
Avis E. Webb had been a very distinguished lady of the sky. Manning a whole army of illegal airships by the time she was twenty. Her parents had died when she was nine years old and Avis had run away to join the circus a year later after hopping from orphan house to orphan house. After that, she took a fancy to the sky and helped build one of the first ornithopters every created. That led to a long line of airships, vigilante activity, thugs, etc.
She soon became a wanted fugitive in every country she visited although she had helped get rid of quite a few elusive criminals and their organizations. She kept running and helping others quietly in the shadows, but after years, she was finally caught by Japanese authorities and was sentenced to death in two weeks’ time.
Somehow, she managed to convince the authorities that she could help them and she was never killed and quietly reappeared on Scottish land with an Academy in an ancient castle a year after her capture.
She died in her sleep in the castle at 70.
