Caution

Caution.
Look twice at everything, but only glances, don’t stare. Just walk forward not causing any attention to yourself.
I don’t need to see what’s on the right side of me to find out what is going on, the sounds of little kids, I’d say around the age of seven, screaming ‘happy birthday Abby’ at the top of their little lungs gives me a good enough hint.
Besides, I’ll scan the room just once more when I make my way to the back of the Apple Bees restaurant.
On the left side of me a man that looks about forty five was reading the newspaper. There is something about him that makes me look a third time. I’m not sure why, but when I get to the back it clicks. He is wearing dark sun glasses; do most people wear sun glasses while they are reading? Not to mention the fact that he is ‘inside’. Sure, I’m wearing sun glasses too but for a different kind of purpose.
I put my sun glasses on the top of my head and paste a smile on my face as I walk toward him.
