A Treatise on Thought: Preface (pt1)

The beginning and ending of philosophy is much the same. Though the pursuit of wisdom is an honorable task, it has very little use for “sensible” people. Those who think themselves sensible have no use for another man’s wisdom. They will defiantly reject truths that prove themselves repeatedly throughout the realms of existence, merely because it does not appeal to their good sense.
