Treefrog1996 screams at her computer screen, the depression of losing her pet mouse named Noodles in death now replaced by rage at technology. “Why won’t Google let me sign into my brand new ficly account?! I need to write more now that I have my writing powers back! Arrrrgh!”

bluefish4 finally peeks her head out of the mountain of books in her cave after days of vanishing, “Can’t be bothered with writing when there’s so much to read!”

I look at them with deep sorrow and I turn back to my discombobulated mess of tabs on my computer. I open up my newest source of escapism and furiously begin attacking my keyboard with my brain on overload.

I take a peek at Shu Sam Chen and see that he hasn’t disappeared back into the shadows & I happily write the next ficly in Airships. The plot has taken a turn I had not expected.

I watch with jealousy as Ulfr’s story almost instantly becomes “featured” and he rises to literary fame. Why does he get featured when I have been here longer? What does it take to get featured?
