Untitled Poem #10

Cycling. Endless repeats
of past, present, and future
I worry far too much
about the inevitable distance
that will soon plague
my every waking
about how I will
want to tear myself apart,
limb from limb.
There is a heavy weight
nestled comfortably on
my shoulders.
I carry heavy burdens
brought on
by myself.
