Why the diffetence between “she” and “i”?

They’re the same, I’m just keeping with the pattern used in the last two.

Cute couplet of limericks with a more serious and sweet tone/meaning than one usually finds in a limerick. Feels like it says something about settling or maybe just finding someone and hoping they will fill a role.
