This is a great sorta rambling story. The lack of punctuation bothered me slightly but I figured you did it on purpose. Nice work. :)

I like the theme of time running out, but I felt it was told too passively and without emotion. It left me with no sense for how the narrator feels about these things. He’s neither longing for release or cursing his fate, but rather just relating an observation.

The distance feels intentional. If it wasn’t, I think it works well.
Quite interesting, rather dark but still interesting.

Beautiful reflection. These are questions and concerns but I also feel that I could not find the right words to verbalize. Thank you for making concrete what was fluid in me.
