He dusted off his armor,
Begging the lady’s pardon,
Living out here a while,
(Self-imposed exile)
Weeds had o’ergrown the garden.

I mumbled out excuses,
Feeling more and more foolish,
Entranced by her eyes,
Eden’s paradise,
In my heart was but one wish.
