Mental: Lying to the Doctor
She woke up again, with lights blazing all around her. Wiki was clenching her jaw to keep the screams from erupting out of her throat. She glanced around, disoriented, & found herself in the Doctor’s room strapped onto one of the uncomfortable beds. She screamed.
A tall, stocky woman came rushing out of the Doctor’s office with a concerned smile. “Hello, Ms. Pedia. Is something wrong?” The woman asked as she slowly took off Wiki’s restraints. Wiki bolted upright remembering the night before. She mumbled, “I was just frightened.” The woman was gushing sympathy, “Why were you frightened? Did you have something bad to eat? Did you have a headache? Did you have a visitor? Did you have a strange dream? My monitors show very strange readings.” Wiki stared at her feet, waiting for the pounding in her head to stop, her legs dangling from the bed, “I just screamed because I didn’t know why I was in this room. I was just confused. Nothing happened last night. I was just too hot. The room was suffocating me.”
