Wiki jumped when a hand rested on her shoulder. She looked up and saw the Counselor. He was dressed in a suit and a smile that looked like it was painted on instead of being real. Wiki silently got up and followed the Counselor to his office. He sat across of her behind a big metal table. Wiki sat on a velvet couch that made Wiki’s skin itch.

He was silent as he glanced at his papers and then at Wiki. He waited for Wiki to say something. Wiki remained silent and numb.

“So… I hear you had a nightmare last night.”

Wiki almost fell off of the couch, “Wh- Who said that?”

The Counselor stared at her for a moment and then laughed, “I was just teasing. Everybody knows that people don’t dream! We invented the sleep inducers so we have a good night’s rest without all that commotion. Of course if somebody did have a dream than it would be important to tell someone. So that we could fix that problem. Especially in here, where everybody already has delicate minds. So is there anything you wanted to share with me?"
