Just then Dr Reinfeld entered the room, “sorry about the interruption there”. “So now where were we, oh yes your talents and your new life.”

John tried not to look terrified but Dr Reinfeld saw right through his brave face.

“It’s ok John” he started…”all of our new subjects here have that same look”. “Apprehension, wonder, shock, it’s totally normal”

“Now you have very special powers which you will need to work hard to control and focus. You probably noticed the Auras were very bright and should have calmed down by now, as you become more used to your power”.

“Yes Dr.” John quietly replied, ”but what do the colors, the feelings what does all of it mean?”
