A Day in the Life...
As small as I am, I am fearless. Charging the dragon, I know I’m going to have quite the battle on my hands, but someone has got to get rid of this beast. The world was always in dire peril it seemed, and for a gnome at three feet six inches it was a daily struggle to keep going.
Swinging my axes, I attempt to not become this dragon’s morsel. Regardless of what most people think, plate armor does nothing against a flaming recluse. He spits a long stream of fire at me, and I dodge out of the way clumsily. I see a low hanging branch I can jump up on to give me a better vantage point. I struggle to my feet and run as fast as my short legs and heavy armor will allow.
There is a knock on my door. The dragon would have to wait. UPS happened to be at my door and I had dogs barking very loudly. Tripping over my dogs and laundry on the floor, I finally reach the door only to find the UPS lady had run away from my “vicious” dogs. Chuckling to myself I thought of my dragon and knew mine weren’t nearly as funny as hers.
