the aim was for repetition that drags the reader down. It’s a poem that hints that nostalgia, or at least intended to . Yet in this sense of nostalgia there seems to be a feeling of discomfort, of disbelief, towards whatever the persona’s reminiscing.

…was the idea I had in mind.
