I should note that this draft was begun sometime in 2010, partially rewritten in early 2011 and completely rewritten this March – and I’m still not altogether happy with it, but I think it’s one of those times where you just have to finish the piece and let it go.

Yeah, that’s something I have trouble with frequently, as well. I hate to publish something I’m not entirely happy with, but at the same time, sometimes there’s just no salvaging the piece to my satisfaction.
